I am afraid to play WoW

I afraid to log onto my main character in World of Warcraft.
My main character is a level 80 troll mage named Rodos and the star of my web series Troll Story.

I afraid to play as him because I left the guild I belong to recently. The guild is called Acquisition. They are a raiding guild and a decent group of people and players but I could not stand to be around them. I feel bad about this because they were only trying to help and without them I never would have been able to make my raid music video.

But they would not leave me alone and play my way but that is understandable because they were serious about raid progression. But I did not like them constantly telling me where I had to spend my talent points and what gems I had to have in my gear.

It is strange that Blizzard Entertainment has created a system that causes your play options to become very narrow at maximum level. You would think once you reached the highest level in the game you would have a variety of ways to play for whatever you wanted to do. But there is not.

They have created a system where you have to make a choice. You can either play the way you want but not partake in any of the end game content. Or you can take part of the end game content but you don't get to play your character the way you want. Some people are willing to do this. Or want to do this. Or don't see it as a bad thing.

In my opinion it is bad game design when everyone gets to the end of a long journey and in the end they all have to be the same.
